This is a role based in our new Soho Place office – opened in 2023 - in the heart of Central London and home to our Research Lab.

The role

G-Research is seeking a Technology Talent Sourcer to join our world-class Talent Acquisition (TA) team.

You will adopt novel techniques, technology and community platforms to research and identify hard-to-find tech talent across the globe as our hiring needs become increasingly specialised.

You will systematically work through talent maps to source the best tech talent from a range of geographies, backgrounds and industries.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Identifying and engaging specialist Software and Platform Engineers
  • Building and maintaining a strong understanding of hiring requirements to engage the most suitable candidates on the market
  • Researching and engaging potential candidates with outstanding achievements
  • Utilising tools and methods such as GenAI, LinkedIn Recruiter, community sites, such as GitHub and Stack Overflow,, XRAY searches, blogs, social media and our in-house CRM to build out talent pipelines
  • Attending networking events, lectures, conferences, careers fairs and other meet-ups to expand our candidate pipeline and relationships
  • Driving external and internal referrals through new joiner catch-ups and staff engagement
  • Building strong relationships with potential candidates and feeding appropriate prospects into the TA Specialists’ candidate stream
  • Understanding candidates’ ambitions, motivations and career options to promote our opportunities while identifying potential concerns or roadblocks
  • Providing insights into the interview process to support the TA
  •  Specialists’ closing strategy
  • Assisting candidates with interview preparation
  • Staying up to date with developments in Talent Acquisition and its online communities to continuously refine our approach and ways of working
  • Talent mapping and building multi-year pipelines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork ability, organisational skills and a flexible, adaptable attitude

  • A creative approach for sourcing and engaging top technical talent
  • The ability to balance multiple roles and priorities while maintaining operational excellence
  • Fantastic organisational skills and a resilient and results-driven mindset
