This is a hybrid role based in our new Dallas infrastructure hub where we work on the latest technologies in a cutting-edge environment.

The role

G-Research is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to work closely with the Head of Software Engineering Services where you will be responsible for supporting the design, delivery and management of security solutions. These solutions may include secrets management, identity governance, vulnerability management, biometrics and data protection controls for the entirety of G-Research.

This role is critical to our security strategy as you oversee the build-out of current solutions and help to define future strategy and architecture.

We have recently undergone a transformation of our technology platform, migrating from an on-premises Windows framework to a heterogeneous Windows / Linux environment, with a strong emphasis on open-source technology. We will continue to extend our technology platform to support public cloud, alongside our on-prem offering.

As a Security Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and delivering an exceptionally strong security solution without limiting our rapid development of new technologies.

  • Enhancing the existing services through automation and process improvements
  • Designing a sustainable approach for the future

Who are we looking for?

Reporting directly to the Head of Software Engineering Services, the Security Engineering Manager will be an influential leader with a track record of delivering exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience delivering security engineering solutions at an enterprise level
  • A proven track record in the delivery and management of security solutions for cloud and virtualized environments across Windows and Active Directory, Linux and Unix and networks
  • Experience leading and growing teams
  • Experience with program management
  • Strong written and verbal communication
