Open-Source Software

Explore our tools and learn more about how we contribute to the open-source ecosystem.

We play an active role in the open-source community. We take responsibility for maintaining projects, contributing to the continual development of essential software and supporting open-source foundations.

Our work focuses on data science and machine learning tools, as well as the infrastructure and security to support them.

Our Work

Projects We Maintain

Our Open Source Program Office is bigger than usual. We refer to it as a mOSPO, or muscular OSPO, because of its size and the engineering muscle we have added to the team.

Our Open Source Program Office

The size and scale of our Program Office allows us to make significant and impactful contributions to essential projects for the community. We’re proud to have OSPO developers merging PR’s directly on Kubernetes, chairing the technical committee for OpenStack while others are adding significant features as maintainers on Apache Ozone. This is only possible because of the scale of our team and the resources we dedicate towards open source.

Our OSPO helps drive profit, proving that private organizations can support the open-source ecosystem as well as their own bottom line.
