Technology Innovation Group

The Technology Innovation Group identifies, tests and delivers the latest tech solutions to our business, enabling our Researchers and Engineers to keep on innovating.

Our teams employ cutting-edge technologies to keep G-Research at the forefront of our industry. And it’s the Technology Innovation Group that keeps that tech pipeline fresh.

Operationalising the Right Solutions

The Technology Innovation Group seeks out nascent technologies.

Our team investigates developments in machine learning, cloud services, virtual reality, engineering environments and hardware accelerators. If that tech has the potential to improve what we do or how we do it, it’s tested in our Innovation Lab, a proof of concept is developed and if it delivers, we add it to our tech stack.

A Space to Drive Innovation

The Technology Innovation Group runs our Innovation Lab – a space where anyone can come and run their own experiments on our miniature version of our production tech stack, without the risk of breaking anything.

Within our Lab the team also runs Proof of Concept development. Here, we create prototypes to pilot new ideas or technologies to demonstrate the value they can bring to the business.

Our Lab makes it easy to fail fast and move on to the next potential innovation.
