As part of our commitment to shaping the future of research and innovation, every month we give away up to £2,000 per grant and are especially interested in applications that are difficult to get funding for elsewhere.
We’ve helped numerous early careers researchers with travel expenses for key conference travel and attendance, childcare and purchasing essential equipment. So if you’re looking for funding to support your research – we want to hear from you.
We want to hear from post-graduates or PostDocs in the following quantitative areas:
We currently provide grants to current post-graduates or PostDocs who are citizens or students/staff registered at any of the following regions or countries:
Up to £2,000 per applicant; we encourage you to apply for what you think you need, up to that limit. Please provide a breakdown of costs, as we may be able to part fund the request.
Applications are reviewed on the last Thursday of every month. We write to inform successful applicants immediately. You must respond to this email within one week of receipt or we may offer the funds to another applicant.
Due to the large number of applications we receive, we are not always able to update all those who apply.
Please note, if we want to support your application but have reached our monthly funding allocation, we will roll it automatically into subsequent months until we hit your deadline.
Successful applicants are paid directly. We require relevant bank details, which, once received, will be paid into with the agreed amount within three weeks.
Individuals can have up to one active application per month. Any successful grant recipients cannot apply again for 12 months.
Successful applicants are required to provide a short summary of their research and how they will utilise the funding, alongside a portrait photograph; this will be used for G-Research marketing purposes, including our website and social media channels.
We also ask that the support from G-Research is acknowledged in any published work or poster enabled by this grant. Please ask us for our logo.
