Earlier this month, our work with VAST Data was recognised at the HPCwire awards, where we were named as the Readers’ Choice winner for Best Use of HPC in Financial Services.

HPCwire is a leading publication within the high performance computing industry and their awards – in their 20th year – are widely recognised as being among the most prestigious within the HPC community, as well as being the only awards that open voting to a worldwide audience of end users.

Mark Burnett, Head of Technology Innovation Group, said: “We’re proud that our work alongside VAST Data has been recognised by HPCwire readers. It was important for G-Research to select a strategic data platform that could enable our architecture transformation ambitions at enterprise scale, as well as support us into the future.”

“Sustainable businesses are built on sustainable technology strategies and these inevitably require strategic partnerships, like what we’ve established with VAST Data – we’re really pleased that’s been recognised.”

Tom Tabor, CEO of Tabor Communications, publishers of HPCwire, said: “Between our worldwide readership of HPC experts and the most renowned panel of editors in the industry, the Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards represent resounding recognition of the many deep and varied HPC accomplishments throughout the world.”

The winners were announced by HPCwire at SC23 – the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis – in Denver, Colorado earlier in November.

Rolf Hendrikx, Solution Architect at G-Research, was on hand to receive the award on behalf of G-Research, alongside Michael Wing (President at VAST Data) and Tom Tabor.
